A Short Story From a Long-Distance Runner

Ever since writing about Attraction Marketing in general and Renegade University in particular, a number of people, online and offline, have asked me, "Great for you, but do you think that could help me build my business online?"

The short answer is, yes it will, if you believe in yourself and take massive, committed action.

To illustrate what I’m talking about, I’m going to share with you an amazing story about something that changed my life:

Renegade University, Attraction Marketing, and Building Your Business Online

Renegade Professional Has Re-opened

Renegade University

When I was starting out in network marketing, one of the most compelling quotes I read went something like this:

Many people study four years in college then three years in business school to become a middle manager at a large company selling products, like toilet tissue or toothpaste, that on face value “sell themselves.” What makes you think that your enthusiasm alone for your new “business opportunity” will enable you to be an entrepreneur, get prospects, sponsor them, and train them to duplicate your efforts in selling a product that people may not even need? The fact is: to succeed in network marketing, you will need to spend time and money to educate yourself in the skills necessary to build a business.

So, How Can I Start to Educate Myself?

For me, the answer is simple: go to Renegade University, an online business that teaches Attraction Marketing, perhaps the most effective approach to succeed in network marketing on the Internet.

First and foremost, at Renegade University, you’ll learn the skills necessary to have prospects come to you and to get paid while you prospect.

The training also shows you how you can develop at least four different income streams–from your primary business, from affiliate sales, from your own email list, from product sales, and others.

How I Fought Renegade Pro and Won

April 2, 2009 by Ben Mapp · 3 Comments

I’d been planning it all week: Get up early, get our daughter ready for school, get to my computer just before the early-bird sign-in at 8 a.m. PT and, as soon as the clock strikes 8, reload my browser and sign-in to Renegade Professional . Not so fast.

I did all that and the time counter on the early-bird page just kept going…-1 second, -2 seconds, -3 seconds. I kept reloading, certain that Firefox was caching the page. Nope. Reload. Reload. Reload. I went to another early-bird link I’d received. Same thing.

Thoughts of being among the first 100 registrants (and winning some really cool bonuses) fading from my mind, I quickly started surfing MarketingMerge.com, figuring that there must be a link to the Renegade Professional there. I was right. I found the login page, entered my info, and I was in. Finally! Not sure exactly what time that was, but my "Welcome" email from Mike Klingler arrived in my inbox with a timestamp of 8:10 a.m. Whew.

I work in IT and I know crazy things happen around a site’s launch, so the cynic in me asked, "Did someone just forget to update the redirect on the page?" In the frantic rush to launch, did someone just miss a step in the launch countdown checklist and lock out thousands of people? Hmmm.

Later in the day, after my cynicism subsided, I tweeted @Ann_Sieg, asking the most sober question I could: Were the servers overloaded at 8 a.m.? Yup. Quoting @Ann_Sieg for all those interested: "@roadmapp Yes, it did feel like a battle. We’ve got pics of our servers getting slammed. 40 orders per sec. It was insane."

I bet. And, I want to see those pictures!

Now, you ask, was all that and $49 worth it? You bet. On the other side of the login is a literal marketing wonderland of tutorials, videos, affiliate link opportunities….you name it. The back office is chock full of information and is amazingly well-organized and easy to navigate. I haven’t had the chance to absorb all of it yet. I’ve just read the two Quick Start notes from Mike Klingler. But, on first blush, very impressive.

If you haven’t yet signed up for Renegade Professional , there is still time. But not much. Ann Sieg and Mike Klingler have said that they’re going to close new registrations within 24 hours or (I think I’m getting this correct) once they’ve reach the maximum number that they think they can properly service. UPDATE: They’ve just announced that Renegade Professional will close for new registrations tonight, Thursday, April 2 at 9 p.m. PT.

If you’re too late to sign up for Renegade Professional, then don’t miss the opportunity to train yourself in effective Attraction Marketing by registering for Renegade University. It’s free and also contains loads of great training on Attraction Marketing techniques to start or expand your business.

More news on Renegade as it happens.
